We are looking for the right person to lead our Cluster Sales Team in a new established role, as Director of Sales. You will be responsible for driving sales together with your sales team, for the appointed hotels in your cluster as well as deliver sales to all hotels within Carlson Rezidor Hotel group. As this position is a new role you will be part of building up the role and team to deliver revenue in an entrepreneurial way, vigilant for new ways to exploit the commercial environment and key networks within the industry. This role will lead a sales team of 3-4 persons and have full responsibility for the markets of West, South and Eastern part of Sweden. You will be located in Gothenburg and report to the Country Director of Sales and be part of our National sales team. You will proactive lead your team to success with our Yes I Can Spirit!

In the Nordics, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has 60+ hotels in operations with a new Nordic Sales & Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue and market share growth for assigned cluster of hotel(s)
- Responsible for all business generation by proactively identifying opportunities in the appointed markets West, South and East Sweden for cluster as well as all hotels within Carlson Rezidor Hotel group
- Continuing to set, communicate, and raise expectations of team and individual performance; motivating and supporting efforts to achieve goals while upholding organizational values and standards
- Account management of own assigned accounts both existing and new
- Develop and implement sales strategy, revenue plans for the hotel(s) within the cluster to support their business needs
- Be the key sales support and communicator for hotel(s) General Managers / owners within the cluster to wider (global) stakeholders to support the commercial need
- Works in partnership with the other national Sales functions and roles, Revenue Cluster and Nordic Marketing & PR functions
Required Skills and Experience
- We require strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision making and problem solving skills
- Minimum of four years of business development leadership experience or related sales management experience
- Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas, in contiguous, multiple years
- University graduate qualification or equivalent
- Excellent ability to communicate verbal and written, fluently and concisely in Swedish as well as English
- Ability to travel upon request
- Experience from the hospitality travel or service related industries
- Experience in working in multiple markets and/or multi-property
- Experience of Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
- Proven interaction and networking capabilities
- Full driving license
