About Your Job: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the revenue budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts. You will develop a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealings, which drive maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale. You will gain maximum value for the airline by negotiating commercial agreements between the two parties. You will also engage in joint sales and marketing activity to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution process.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Contributing to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize short and long term revenue opportunities.
- Planning and implement selling activities for the assigned areas to ensure optimum revenues for Qatar Airways, as established by Sales Management.
- Effectively managing accounts and effectively planning sales calls, submitting sales call plans sales reports and updating the accounts about QR products and services.
- Negotiating contracts with Trade Travel accounts Corporate Accounts and recommending actions accordingly.
- Reviewing Qatar Airways sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek tactical opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining good relations with the Travel Trade and other relevant stake holders.
About You:
- To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant vocational qualification combined with a minimum of three years job-related experience in a service selling job. You will need experience from working within a high speed and target driven environment.
- Ability to meet and exceed demanding sales targets.
- Strong desire and motivation to succeed in a fast growing and dynamic environment.
- People skills and a personal drive to build relationships actively by holding meetings, continuously educate stake holders and be a networking professional.
- You will need to have a Swedish work permit and be fluent in Swedish as well as English language (written and oral)
- Proven sales results from previous accomplishments.
- Great system knowledge of Office package (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and have good learning abilities for additional internal systems.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills.
Preferred
- Proven knowledge of a GDS system including ticketing and selling would be advantageous.
- Previous experience from within the hospitality and travel industry.
- Good knowledge how to analyze given data and use it for strategic selling.
