The Account Steering Expert has a key role within the sales organization by providing local sales impulses to the assigned Account Managers through a structural and detailed analysis of the customer portfolios. She/he works in teams with Account Managers with the goal to jointly optimize the performance of their portfolio for the Lufthansa Group; Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Swiss.
Main tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Develop account management activities, based on monthly analysis and evaluation of account management portfolios and their possible revenue potentials
- Identification of sales based opportunities & threats by competition monitoring (frequency & capacity)
- Ensure quality of agent/corporate reference data in the relevant LH/LH Group sales tool and update of customer profiles in CRM system
- Comprehensive preparation of contract and incentive proposals and reviews in close cooperation with the Account Manager
- Ensure a professional and smooth communication with the regional Business Development Unit in terms of performance and reporting
- Perform Ad Hoc analysis, monitoring and reporting as required
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Fluency in verbal and written Swedish and English (German a plus)
- Experience from the travel industry desirable but not required
- University degree or relevant work experience
